Terms of Service

Last updated 5 August 2026 · Attesko is pre-launch

These terms cover use of attesko.com and participation in the Attesko early-access programme. They are deliberately short, because Attesko is not yet generally available and there is nothing to sell you. Businesses joining a pilot sign a separate written agreement, and that agreement governs the actual service.

Attesko is pre-launch. No production capture is enabled and no customer data is being processed. Nothing on the website is an offer, and no figure shown there is a customer result.

01Accepting these terms

By using this website or joining the early-access programme, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You must be at least 18.

If you do not agree, do not use the site.

02What Attesko is

Attesko is software that observes how a business already works — through an agent installed on company computers, and through email and calendar access the business grants — in order to identify recurring tasks and offer to perform them.

Attesko proposes; a person approves. Actions that touch a customer or move money always require explicit approval and can never be automated away, however long the software has been running. This is a property of the product, not a setting.

03Early access

The early-access programme is provided free of charge and as-is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not promise any level of availability, performance, or continuity while it runs.

Anything you tell us about your experience, we may use to improve the product. We will not attribute it to you or your business publicly without asking.

04Your responsibilities where staff are involved

Attesko captures screens on computers used by real people. That places obligations on the business installing it, and this is the most important section on this page.

If you install Attesko, you are responsible for:

  • Having the authority to install monitoring software on the computers concerned.
  • Notifying every affected member of staff before capture begins, using the notice the product provides or one at least as clear.
  • Complying with the employee-monitoring, privacy, and labour laws that apply where your staff actually work — which may differ by state or country, and may require consent rather than notice.
  • Not attempting to use Attesko to evaluate, rank, discipline, or surveil individuals. The product is built so it cannot produce those measures, and attempting to obtain them is a breach of these terms.

We provide the staff notice, the visible capture indicator, and the staff-controlled pause as product features. We cannot provide your legal compliance, and we are not your lawyer.

05Acceptable use

Do not use Attesko or this website to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, capture computers you have no authority over, attempt to reach another business's data, interfere with the service, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission.

If you believe you have found a security issue, please tell us at security@attesko.com rather than publishing it. We will not pursue anyone who reports in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

06What we do not promise

Attesko describes work it has observed and estimates what that work is worth. Estimates are estimates. We do not promise that any dollar figure, hours figure, or recovered-revenue figure will be achieved, and nothing produced by the software is financial, legal, tax, or professional advice.

You remain responsible for reviewing what Attesko proposes before you approve it. Approving a proposal is your decision and your action.

07Your data

Your business's data remains yours. We process it to provide the service, on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We do not sell it, do not use it to serve another business, and do not use it to train machine-learning models.

08Our materials

The Attesko software, website, name, and brand are ours and stay ours. These terms grant no licence to copy, modify, resell, or reverse-engineer them, beyond ordinary use of the site and any licence granted in a signed pilot agreement.

09Fees

There are none during early access. If Attesko becomes a paid product, pricing and payment terms will be set out in a separate agreement, and no charge will ever be applied without one.

10Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, the website and the early-access programme are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the website or the early-access programme.

Because early access is free, our total liability arising out of it is limited to one hundred US dollars. Paid service, if any, will carry its own limits in its own agreement.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12Ending it

You can stop using Attesko at any time. Uninstalling the agent ends capture immediately, and you can revoke email and calendar access from your Google or Microsoft account settings without involving us.

We may end your access to early access at any time, and will give reasonable notice unless the circumstances make that unwise. On termination you may ask us to delete your data, as described in the Privacy Policy.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Attesko is organised, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any pilot agreement will state its governing law and venue expressly, and that agreement controls where the two differ.

14Changes

We may update these terms. When we change them materially we will update the date at the top and, for anyone in the early-access programme, tell you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

15Contact

Questions about these terms go to hello@attesko.com. Privacy questions, including from staff at a business using Attesko, go to privacy@attesko.com and are not routed through the employer.
